Unleash Your Creativity with These Bestselling Fonts

Revealed: the top ten bestselling fonts of 2024
As 2025 begins, I want to take a moment to look back on 2024 and share what’s ahead. Your support and feedback have meant so much, and I really appreciate having you along for the ride.
What 2024 Taught Me
Script Fonts Are Your Favorites
Four of my top 10 fonts from 2024 were scripts—including three that are older releases! While script fonts are incredibly rewarding to create, they’re also time, labor, and physically intensive. So, while I can’t focus solely on scripts, I’m going to aim to release at least a couple this year.

Playful Personality Is a Winner
You showed me that my fonts with bold personality, lots of ligatures, and creative quirks resonate the most. In 2025, I’ll be embracing this insight by focusing on playful and character-filled designs that bring even more joy and originality to my work.

Utility vs. Quirk
Despite my efforts to promote more straightforward, utilitarian fonts in 2023 and 2024, you guys definitely gravitate toward quirky, unique styles. This year, I’ll put more of my energy into what inspires you most—designs that spark creativity and fun—because honestly those are the most fun for me, too.

Reworking Old Fonts: A Lesson Learned
Projects like re-releasing Bundt Cake and expanding FiftyFifty took up 19.3% of my working hours last year. (Does it surprise anyone that I track my hours? 🤪) While revisiting old work has its rewards, I’ve realized that it pulls too much time away from creating new designs. After finishing the expansion of FiftyFifty (hopefully soooooooon), my focus in 2025 will shift fully to fresh font design projects.

Looking Ahead to 2025
This year, I’m diving into new ideas with a renewed focus on fun, creativity, and the styles that light you (and me!) up. I plan to work on making my whole font design process more playful, in fact, and I hope that this will also come across more in my social media, emails, and launches.
That said, the next time you’ll hear from me will most likely be when I announce the release of the multi-weight FiftyFifty font family. It’s taking for-actual-ever, but I really hope to get that done for you guys soon.
